DT PROJECT

As you can see on the right and left side, I have put examples of the ships that I were tried to chose for my project. In the end, I have chosen a row boat, because it's easy to make, you don't particularly need any special details for it, like motor or sails, because to make it move you just need oars. The material that I have chosen is plastic, because it's waterproof and by using a line bender, it was very easy to make a shape of the boat that I wanted.

My evaluation on every stage in my DT project

Investigate stage:
This stage wasn’t hard as I thought, because the information that I had to look for was very easy and it wasn’t hard finding it. Thinking of how designing my product was a bit hard, although I work with this project not the first time. Finding some certain information such as videos, newspaper articles, was on of the hardest jobs. Then looking for people and interviewing them was kind of easy, but it actually depended if person new something about the topic that I have chosen for my product.

Design stage:
Designing the blog was one of the hardest jobs, but I got used to it, and very enjoyed doing it. I liked making layout, sorting out the pictures, posts, and where they are suppose to be. So basically, what I did is that I designed two of my products on the paper, I drew the layout, how I want everything to be, and then by evaluating on every design, I came up with final choice and right now this product is in progress.

Create stage:
After choosing the design, as I already mention above, I was working on create stage. My topic was “Abortion”, and by using my investigate stage; everything that I researched on, I used that information for my product. Some problems that I faced in this stage, is that I couldn’t choose a proper background for the topic, but in the end I came up with a very colorful background that I connected with my topic. The creating was kind of easy, but it took a long time of doing it.

Evaluation stage:
In evaluation stage I basically mentioned all my weaknesses and strengths in creating, investigating and designing my product. Evaluation very helped me, because after some time I edited all my disadvantages in my product and made it better. I mentioned how many people commented on my blog, and what they are saying about it, is it good or bad. I said what I could have done better in my product and what changes I could have made, and how this product affects the AOI.
